Talents whether they are hidden or not are skills everyone possesses that shape us into the people we are today. Although most share their talents with the world, there are some that keep their talents hidden, for fear that they aren’t good enough to be performed. The reality of it is that everyone’s talents are unique and special. Talents show us the different skills that one was blessed with. By sharing our talents with the world it allows us to create a diverse and unique culture showcasing all the amazing talents of people all over the world.

With 329 of Missouri’s brightest students coming to attend MSA, that gave MSAN a huge variety of people to choose from to find the “Hidden Talents” at MSA. The task to find hidden talents was easy at some points and hard at some points. At times the MSAN reporters had to dig deeper and really seek out a scholar with a hidden talent, and at other times, the scholars were more than happy to whip out their talent. It was intriguing, kind of like a mystery to see which talent we would discover next. By interacting with the scholars we learned traits about them that we hadn’t known before. It allowed us to connect with one another and share a little about ourselves which is what MSA is all about. Connecting with others and sharing your story. Over the course of the week we got a great variety of hidden talents that we compiled into a newsworthy video for all.

Can you bend your thumb all the way behind your fingers? Or how about name all the elements of the periodic table by memory? What about sing the alphabet backwards? Crazy right! We got to meet up with the scholars that can perform these talents well. MSAN would like to thank all the scholars who shared their hidden talent with us! If you would like to see all of these talents click the video link below, I promise you won’t want to miss the hidden talents of MSA. And if you would like to see many more scholars perform their talents in the annual MSA Talent Show, come out Sunday night @7:30 in the Geology Auditorium and support our scholars as they wow us with their remarkable talents!
