Mr. Bean, comedy icon who has two movies, a sitcom, a cartoon series, also has a music career. Mr. Bean’s music discography is deep and Bean has been under the water for way too long. The best way to describe Bean’s music is, the best. I have devoted an entire day to listen to every song he has put out and taken notes.

I Want To Be Elected (1992): The earliest of Bean’s music and it doesn’t have him sing but features him in the video. The story behind this one is that Mr. Bean is running for a political spot in office. The video is pretty much a glorified Mr. Bean short and the weakest of his music. Mr. Bean isn’t proposing tax cuts, he’s proposing hair cuts, also he will outlaw beards.

Memorable line: “Don’t be inbetweeny vote for Mr. Beany”

I’m Bean (2017): Mr. Bean’s earliest song on Spotify and this one shows strong initiative and potential for Mr. Bean’s venture into music. Interestingly, the single cover for this song has the parental advisory stamp despite featuring no vulgarities.

Rating: Seven Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Hello I’m Bean, Mr. Bean”

I Love Dancing (2017): Mr Bean followed up “I’m Bean” with this song. This song is an apparent improvement over the previous with better production and catchier lyrics. Mr Bean shows us a new dance move for all the kids to do back home.

Rating: Eight Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Look at me, I’m dancing”

Seaside Holiday (2019): After a 2 year apparent “Seaside Holiday” Mr. Bean returns with a vengeance on this track. Seaside Holiday is the first Mr. Bean song to have background vocals. This song is the first in an era of the production just getting better and better.

Rating: Nine Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Ice Cream”

Pizza Bean (2019): Pizza Bean is a marvel of the music industry. Mr Bean comes out of nowhere with the greatest kids songs you can show. Pizza Bean is a story about Mr Bean ordering a pizza which is apparently so good that he had to write the best banger the music industry has seen.

Rating: Ten Certified Boombas out of ten

Memorable Line: “Extra mushrooms, hold the anchovies, you want a bit Teddy?”

Let’s Dance (2019): Let’s Dance is a sequel track to “I Love Dancing”. Mr Bean shows us the same dance move as seen from “I Love Dancing” but adds a couple more moves. Apparently “I Love Dancing” was such a good song that Mr Bean now has a whole dance class that he teaches. The production is amazing but it isn’t as impressive as Pizza Bean.

Rating: Eight Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Right, ready for action”

Cup of Tea (2019): 2019 was an extremely busy year for Mr. Bean and this song shows him relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. The song is laid back compared to his other songs and this is a bop regardless.

Rating: Seven Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Cup of tea?”

The Spooky Song (2019): Mr. Bean celebrates Halloween by going to a haunted house. Spooks and scares are the focus of this song and influence the sound. Bean becomes scared and tries to reassure himself everything is okay. Mr. Bean then doesn’t become scared of the house anymore and claims by the end “This isn’t scary”.

Rating: Eight Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Lemme out of here”

Teddy (2019): Teddy is a song with a very different type of production. Teddy sounds very western compared to everything else Bean has put out. Teddy is a story about Mr. Bean trying to find Teddy during a game of Hide and Seek. Teddy is found and Bean could not be happier.

Rating: Seven Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: "Whew, Teddy this is exhausting!”

The Happy Birthday Song (2019): Whoever received this song for their birthday is the happiest person on earth. Everyone knows that “Happy Birthday” has been in different copyright holders since it was created, so Mr. Bean made an alternative. The Happy Birthday song is everything “Teddy” should have been. The production on this song is way better than featured on “Teddy”. The background vocals come back and they are used in the best spots possible.

Rating: Ten Certified Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “What are we waiting for?”

I Love My Car (2019): Mr. Bean loves his car just as much as he loves Teddy. Mr. Bean and his car have been through thick and thin together, in a way, Mr. Bean’s car is like a brother to Bean. In this song, Mr. Bean is driving his car through a busy street in London. It is clear that he recorded this song while being stuck in traffic because Mr. Bean is that much of a musical genius. The production is impressive as always and is the type of car to play when you want to sell someone a green Mini-Coop. Mr. Bean would unfortunately crash his car by the end of the song and the last 50 seconds is just silence.

Rating: Eight Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Teddy? Quick, get in the car”

You Can Do It (2019): Mr. Bean makes a debut as a motivational speaker to tell you specifically that you can do anything. Mr. Bean then congratulates you after completing the task that you are struggling with. The production is great but it feels like a beat you can get royalty free from YouTube.

Rating: Seven Boomas out of ten.

Memorable line: “Come on, we can do it.”

The Excellent Song (2019): The second motivational song and Mr. Bean’s last song to be released in 2019. In this song Mr. Bean is cheering you up saying everything is “excellent” and that you are awesome. The production is excellent and has an excellent message but it feels too much like “Everything is Awesome” from the Lego Movie. The song is catchy and worth having in your playlist.

Rating: Seven Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “Everything is Excellent”

Not Again! (2020): Mr. Bean’s last song he’s put out as of June 18th 2022 and is really concerning from the feel of the song. In this song Mr. Bean is upset, it isn’t fully explained but I have a theory. Mr. Bean has been an icon of pop culture since his inception. I believe that this song is about the constant stress Mr. Bean is put through on a daily basis. “Not Again!” is a song about paparazzi.

Rating: Nine Boombas out of ten

Memorable line: “What has the world come to?”

In conclusion, Mr. Bean is influential to the trap music industry even though he only has just over 33,000 monthly listeners. “Let’s Dance” clearly was an inspiration for Drake’s “Toosie Slide” and I really hope Mr. Bean comes back to feature on a Kanye or Drake song to make the biggest musical hit in the history of modern music.
